Fry’s solder is an activated rosin cored solder wire developed for general hand soldering applications. Ultra-low residue solder wire results in barely visible residues and good connection on all solderable surfaces. Fry’s solder is the best choice of solder wire for re-work or repair applications. Fry’s Solders contain 2% silver which many will know as a Low melting Point alloy (LMP). This has a melting point at 179 degrees centigrade. Non-cored solder is also available in stick and bar forms (Tinmans) and Bakers soldering fluxes complete the range.
